This website serves as the platform for my "hybrid" or "blended" classes. Hybrid or blended classes are a great way to introduce high school students to online classes. Meeting in the traditonal classroom as well as the virtual classroom exposes students to both learning environments. I feel this approach is best suited to students that are new to on-line learning.
My search for a solution that was both robust and cost effective has led me to Moodle. Moodle is a Course Management System (CMS), also known as a Learning Management System (LMS) or a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) that is open source.
